Personal Development

The physical and mental wellbeing of your children is of great importance. Children should always feel safe, respected, and valued, and should be able to receive help when required- both at home and at school. At Hill View Infant Academy we pride ourselves on making personal development a priority. We feel that pastoral and personal development is fundamental to a child beng able to achieve at school. We offer a menu of support at School Hub Level and our Family Liason Officer/Pastoral Lead is always actively avaiable to support children and families. 

As noted by OFSTED (2022) : 

"PSED is an absolute strength of the school. The dedicated family liaison officer has created a school hub to support 25 families. This includes mental health training for parents and pupils, support with attendance and family check-ins. The school looks to innovate practice in this area."
