  • Mrs Earl's retirement
    On Wednesday 17th July we will be saying a final goodbye to Mrs Gillian Earl who has been a teacher and member of staff at Hill View Infants for 42 years!

    We would like to say a big thank you to all the children and their families who came along to the Sunderland Empire yesterday to see our y1 and y2 violinists perform.

    Nursery children had the most wet and wonderful fun in nursery today!

  • Our duckling eggs have arrived!
    Nursery have 10 ducklings eggs which they will watch hatch and grow over the next few weeks. Mrs Stockley even has a paddling pool so that we can watch them swim!

  • World Book Day 2019
    Thank you to all families for taking the time to dress up your children for WBD 2019. We were astounded by some of the marvellous costumes. The child with the most creative costume in each class received a certificate and a book.
  • Wellies Needed for OPAL
    If you have any spare/ old wellies that your child no longer uses please can we have them for our OPAL project? Please bring them in to school, on Friday 8th March. There will be a staff member on the yard to collect them.
  • SMILE musical performance
    On Friday we saw a performance from a String Trio (violin, viola and cello). The musicians told a story through music, movement, puppets and props, of a tiger who had lost his smile and his adventures on his quest to find it!
