Important Information for Parents
15 May 2020 (by admin)
We would like to send our heartfelt thanks to you all for your patience and understanding in this difficult and frustrating time. The government guidelines on a return to school are still being updated at present and new information was sent just last night. The guidelines for Infant schools are specific that we prioritise Nursery and Reception as the first to return to school on June 1st. Therefore, in the first instance, Year 1 and Year 2 will continue to stay at home and will be provided with curriculum-linked home learning. Children of key workers and those in vulnerable groups will continue to be offered a place in school.
If your children are in Nursery or Reception please complete the survey on our website by 12pm on MONDAY 18TH MAY.
This will enable us to formulate a full risk assessment depending on numbers in school. This will be shared with all parents.
We will be considering:
- Small numbers in each class group (limited to 8 children)
- Staggered drop-offs/pick-ups/lunchtimes/playtimes
- The same adult/s to remain with each group (this may not be their usual class teacher)
