  • 100% Attendance - 2 terms
    An extra special assembly took place on Monday to celebrate a whopping 66 children who have achieved 100% attendance over autumn and spring terms.
  • Southmoor Young Champions
    Year 1 children had a special visit from the young champions at Southmoor Academy on Wednesday. They talked to our children about anti-bullying and how to stop a bully.
  • OPAL project
    We want to say a very big thank you to everyone who brought resources in to school to help set up our OPAL playground.
  • Free School Meals Funding
    Please can we ask that if any parent/carer is entitled to Free School Meals, it would benefit the school if you made us aware. Although every child is now entitled to a free meal the school STILL receive funds for your child if entitled.
  • Class 7 trip to Rainton Meadows
    What a wonderful time class 7 had at Rainton Meadows.
  • Attendance Challenge Week
    Well done to all children who have made it in to school everyday so far this week. Our current attendance is 96%. We have sweet treats at the ready for children on Friday.
  • Book Fair
    A reminder the postponed book fair is on all week in the school hall.
  • OPAL project for our yard
    As part of our OPAL project we would like to create a children's kitchen area and some transport role play. Can you, or do you know of anyone who would be able to built these resources for us? Example picture attached.
  • Primary Awards Ceremony - Anti-bullying
    Mrs Kyle and the AB crew spent a wonderful day at the council chambers to celebrate the 7th annual ‘Anti Bullying Event’. We won ‘Outstanding achievement for a whole school approach to Anti Bullying that’s made a positive impact on our school’.
  • Planetarium
    Nursery and Class 9 have enjoyed spending time in a planetarium as part of their space topics.
