  • OPAL meeting
    Please can we remind all parents that there is a meeting on Friday 19th January at 9am regarding our exciting OPAL project which will enhance our playtimes at school. The project is already underway and we hope to see changes on our yard imminently.
  • FRED day: Thursday 1st March
    As part of World Book Day we will be running FRED (Fathers Reading Every Day) again this year.
  • Reception Christmas Treat
    It's been very festive in school this week and no more so than in Reception. The children and staff changed into their pyjamas and enjoyed a polar express experience today.
  • Diary Dates
    Spring term diary dates have been added to the school website. Select the school office tab and 'diary dates'.
    Parents in nursery and reception will soon be able to log into 'earwig academic' website to access their child's learning records.
  • First signs of snow!
    Look who we caught enjoying some fun in the snow this morning after the register.
  • Friendship Friday and Children in Need
    Today we held Friendship Friday. This time we chose to do something different... Within each year group children got the opportunity to sign up to an activity led by each class teacher.
  • Water safety talk
    Children were given a fun but informative talk by lifeguards from the RNLI today around the importance of staying safe around water.
  • Proud moment for Hill View
    Our mouths were watering yesterday when we got to see (and taste) the delectable 'Bonfire muffin' made by Lennox Crosdale for the school bake off competition.
  • Remembrance Day Assembly
    Children and staff enjoyed a beautiful and very informative Remembrance Day assembly.
